Buttercream is one of the colours Essentials is best known for, warm enough to read as a neutral without being beige. Heavyweight cotton fleece with a raised rubberised chest logo you can feel with a thumb, which is the detail counterfeits get wrong. Restraint is what separates this from most streetwear. There is no back print and no loud graphic, just the cut doing the work.
Fit. Cut oversized by design: wide body, dropped shoulders, slightly shorter length than the width suggests. Order your usual size for the intended look, or size down one for a closer fit.
Styling. Layer it under a coach jacket or wear it alone, which is how most people wear these.
Care. Wash cold at 30 degrees, inside out, and air dry. Heat lifts the rubberised logo at the edges and eventually cracks it, and there is no fixing it once it goes.
