The Corteiz Guerillaz Stone Cargos are the neutral pair, and the one that changes what the rest of your wardrobe can do. Stone is a pale sand grey rather than a beige.
Why a light cargo is worth owning
Almost everyone buys the black pair first. The problem with black cargos is that they anchor every outfit downward. Stone does the opposite. It lifts a dark top half and it works in summer where black twill becomes unbearable.
Be realistic about the colour
Pale twill marks. Knees, pocket edges and the back of the leg all show wear faster than they would on black. That is the cost of the colour, and it is worth knowing before you buy rather than after.

- Wide through the thigh with a straight fall, the standard Guerillaz cut
- Non-elasticated waist, so take your usual size

What to wear on top
Black, charcoal and dark green all work. Cream does not, because the two pale tones sit too close and the outfit loses definition. Stone wants contrast above it.
Care
- Cold wash at 30 degrees, inside out, with light colours only
- Never in a load with dark denim, as indigo transfers onto pale twill
- Treat knee and pocket marks before washing, not after
- Hang dry out of direct sun, and empty the pockets first
