The motif on both pieces
Tremaine Emory's cotton wreath appears across the set rather than on one half, so wearing the pieces separately still reads as Denim Tears. The label was built in 2019 around that motif and what it references, and the grey ground shows it with clean contrast rather than burying it.

The one thing to know about grey marl
It shows sweat and it picks up lint from anything darker in the wash. Neither is a dealbreaker, but wash the set on its own rather than throwing it in with towels or dark denim.

- Hang dry rather than tumble, to protect the motif and the cuffs
- No fabric softener on brushed fleece
