Allstarz Skully Beanie

The Skully is the close-fitting one. It sits tight to the skull with a short cuff, so it finishes just above the ears and shows the shape of your head.

Woosh Sport Beanie

The Woosh Sport is the athletic cut. Ribbed knit, a neat turned cuff, and branding that sits small on the fold rather than large across the front.

Black is the everyday choice. Blue and yellow are brighter and read well against a plain jacket. If you want a Corteiz beanie that does not announce itself from across the road, this is the line.

Washing a Knitted Beanie

Knitwear stretches when it is wet and heavy. That is how beanies end up loose and never recover.

• Hand wash cold. Use mild detergent and do not wring it out.
• Dry it flat. Hanging a wet beanie pulls the knit out of shape under its own weight.
• Skip the radiator. Direct heat shrinks the fibres unevenly.
• Shave, do not pull. If bobbling appears, a fabric shaver clears it. Pulling loose fibres unravels the knit.
