The Corteiz Skepta BBK T Shirt Black brings together two names that grew out of the same London ecosystem. Corteiz on one side, Boy Better Know on the other, printed on black.
Why this collaboration carries weight
Boy Better Know is Skepta's collective and label, and it did for grime what Corteiz later did for streetwear. Both built an audience without asking permission from an industry. Clint Ogbenna started Corteiz in 2017 out of West London on the same principle, which is why this reads as a genuine link rather than a marketing exercise.
What you are getting on the print
The BBK mark sits alongside Corteiz branding rather than replacing it. On black the print holds its edges sharply, and the shirt stays wearable outside of a music context, which is more than most collaboration tees manage.
Fit and sizing
- Boxy through the chest with a slightly cropped body
- Dropped shoulder seams
- Heavier cotton than a standard tee, so a large print does not pull the fabric
- True to size, or size up if you want more length
- Available in S, M, L and XL
Wearing it
Cargos or Guerillaz shorts underneath keep it in the Corteiz world. Straight denim takes it somewhere quieter. Because it is a collaboration piece rather than a core logo tee, it does the work on its own without needing a second graphic anywhere in the outfit.
Care
- Cold wash at 30 degrees, inside out, with darks
- Hang dry rather than tumble, since heat shrinks a cropped body noticeably
- Iron on the reverse only, never across the print
- No bleach and no fabric softener
