Corteiz | The West London label Clint419 built without adverts

Corteiz started in 2017, when Clint Ogbenna, known as Clint419, began printing clothes in West London. The full name is CRTZ RTW, short for Corteiz Rules The World. There were no adverts, no influencer deals and, for years, a password on the website.

The brand grew through drops that felt like events. In 2021, Corteiz swapped T-shirts for travel cards in Soho. In January 2022, Da Great Bolo Exchange invited people to trade designer jackets for one of 50 unreleased Bolo puffers in a West London car park. The jackets collected went to the homeless through St Lawrence's Larder.

Later that year, the 99p Market Stall sold new cargos for exactly 99p. In 2023, Nike and Corteiz released the Air Max 95, and the partnership moved into tracksuits and jackets in 2024.
