V2 is the down-filled update to the original Bolo, so this is the warmer of the two rather than a colourway change. Black is the shade that holds the branding sharpest and hides everyday wear, which makes it the easy colour across the Corteiz range. The Bolo is the jacket that made Corteiz outerwear famous. In 2022 the brand ran the Bolo Exchange, trading designer coats for Bolos and donating the traded jackets to charity. Cut roomy so it layers over a hoodie without pulling at the shoulders, which is how Corteiz outerwear is designed to be worn. Stitching is clean throughout, which is what you notice first on a jacket at this weight.
Fit. True to size with layering room already built in. Only size up if you regularly wear thick knitwear underneath.
Styling. Layer it over fleece through autumn and a knit in deep winter.
Care. Check the label, as care differs by fabric. Shell and cotton wash cold; never tumble dry, as heat damages coatings and warps panels.
