Black is the straightforward choice, and it never looks out of place. It holds the rubberised logo at the sharpest contrast and goes with everything. The adidas collaboration pairs Essentials with the three stripes, and collaboration stock runs in smaller numbers than the mainline. Brushed fleece with the logo kept small and low on the leg, so they read as good joggers first and branded second. The palette is the point: Essentials stays within a narrow band of muted tones, which is why pieces layer with each other so easily.
