Essentials Puff Ink Jacket

Ink is a deep blue-black, which reads as a neutral while giving more than a flat black does. The Puff jackets are the insulated end of the outerwear range, with a quilted body that adds visible bulk by design. Built as a layer rather than a winter coat, cut to go over an Essentials hoodie rather than instead of one. Restraint is what separates this from most streetwear. There is no back print and no loud graphic, just the cut doing the work.

Fit. Do not size down here, which reverses the usual Essentials advice. Outerwear is cut with layering room already built in. Take your usual size, or you end up with something that only fits over a t-shirt.

Styling. Layer it over fleece through autumn and add a knit underneath when it turns.

Care. Check the label, as this category mixes fabrics. Cotton and fleece wash cold inside out. Shell fabrics need a gentle cycle and no softener. Nothing here goes in a tumble dryer.
