Denim Tears Jeans Blue

Blue is a straightforward colourway that pairs naturally with the denim side of the range. Built on the Levi's 501, a straight leg based on a 1954 pattern with a mid rise and button fly. Putting a motif about American cotton onto the most recognisable jean ever made is the point rather than a licensing convenience. Tremaine Emory ran Supreme as creative director while building this label, which is part of why it carries the weight it does.

Fit. Sold on waist measurement and runs true. If you have owned 501s before, the same number applies. Do not size up hoping for a looser leg, as the width is fixed by the pattern.

Styling. A plain tee and clean trainers is the way most people wear these.

Care. Wash as rarely as you can stand, cold and inside out. Every cycle strips indigo and softens the print, and the character in a good pair comes from wearing them rather than cleaning them.
