The Denim Tears Shorts Sky Blue are the palest colourway in the shorts range and the most seasonal. Soft washed blue with the wreath motif sitting clearly on top.
A summer pair, honestly
These are not a year-round short. Sky blue works from May to September and looks out of place either side of it. That is not a criticism, it is just worth knowing before you buy, because the black and grey pairs will get worn twice as often.
What the pale ground does to the motif
Contrast is high, so the wreath is the first thing anyone sees. On a colour this light the design cannot hide, which suits a motif Tremaine Emory intended to be looked at rather than glanced past.

What to wear on top

- Never in a load with dark denim, as indigo transfers onto pale fabric
- Treat marks quickly rather than leaving them to set
- Hang dry out of direct sunlight, and skip the fabric softener
