Black is the most searched Essentials colour by a distance. It holds the rubberised logo at the sharpest contrast and goes with everything. The State is its own piece within the Essentials range rather than a colourway of something else, so it turns up in smaller numbers. Brushed fleece with the logo kept small and low on the leg, so they read as good joggers first and branded second. Restraint is what separates this from most streetwear. There is no back print and no loud graphic, just the cut doing the work.
Fit. Relaxed through the thigh with a gentle taper rather than a hard cuff, so they break over the shoe instead of stacking. The most forgiving fit in the range.
