Arch 2.0 against the original
The 2.0 is a redraw rather than a new design. Tighter curve, cleaner spacing, the same Irongate crest underneath. On black the difference is subtle, which is exactly why this version works: you get the improved drawing without it announcing that it changed.
Why black is the one that sells first
An arch across the chest is already a strong graphic. Putting it on black keeps it in proportion. The white and candy versions push it further, which is great if that is what you want and too much if it is not.
